Hello and thank you for your interest in Ameren PAYS!

Assessment times take about 1.5 hours to complete, and assessment appointment slots are booked out approximately 3 weeks in advance.

So that we can be most efficient with everyone's time, please take a minute to read the quick pre- assessment tips below:

Make sure that you schedule your appointment time with us when you can be home the entire time. If you cannot be home for the entire appointment window, someone over the age of 18 must be home in your absence.
If you use a fireplace, please do not use it for at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment time. You will also need to safely dispose of all fireplace ash prior to our arrival.
Photo documentation of current home characteristics like HVAC system, Duct System and vents, Attic area, equipment closets etc will be collected for energy modeling and for pre and post contractor quality control purposes.
Doors will need to be open and closed repeatedly to include exterior doors. Please ensure that pets and small children are safely contained.
We will have an 8 ft telescopic ladder with us. If a longer ladder is needed for us to access your attic, and you can provide us with one, please plan to do so. If you do not have a ladder tall enough to reach your attic entrance, please make sure you let us know how tall your ceilings are when we are scheduling your appointment together.
Please make sure we have ample access to all air vents throughout your home.

While our assessors will be prepared to answer the most basic questions about PAYS, if you have any remaining questions about how PAYS works, please don't hesitate to give us a call at 1.877.215.5752.

We will send you a reminder text 2 business days before your appointment time/date requiring you to re-confirm your availability. If you do not respond to this text by selecting "CONFIRM" or "CANCEL" or "CANCEL/RESCHEDULE" your appointment will be canceled automatically and we will not be able to reschedule you without re-enrollment. You may also respond to this reminder text by calling us at 314.899.5084.
